VISIONLABS conceived the idea of computerising the cadastral Survey records of various States in India. The Government of India grounded the projects in twelve of it's States. VISIONLABS developed and customised it's software to meet specific requirements of each State, as the methods followed in the States for preparation of conventional cadastral maps on paper media substantially varied.

VISIONLABS Developed the software which adopted the Methods folowed by the surveyor for generating cadastral field maps like Base line off-sets methods and Triangulation methods, with due customisation to local requirements. Digital mapping using numeric cadastre was successfully implemented.

VISIONLABS, also converted the scanned tiff imagery to vector format, thereby facilitated updating of records.

Digital preservance of Cadastral map records, Networking facility to cities, accessability to land records via electronic kiosks and web interface, with Secured Network Data Transfer, Biometric security systems, Integrated access to Distributed Data etc were implemented in the project for the target segment convenience of Public Administration, Public Utility, Maintenance of Register of Records of registrations of public etc.

The trend set by VISIONLABS is gaining momentum in India and upsurge of a huge market is on the anvil.
