Award for the Best Publishing Software in International Expo
VISIONLABS received an award for our Multilingual Publishing software VISION Publisher Professional, which is a C-language implementation of Tex standard propagated by Prof. Donald E. Knuth of Stanford University. The award was presented during annual event of Computer Society of India (CSI) at New Delhi, where numerous national and international products were showcased.
Nomination for Agni Award for Contributions to Defence
For contribution to LCA programme through indigenous technology development, VISIONLABS CMD Dr. T. Raja Rao, was nominated for the prestigious Agni Award by Ministry of Defence. This is a rare achievement, as normally nominees are eminent Scientists working for Defence Research. This was the first time that contributions of a private entrepreneur were recognized by Ministry of Defence and a nomination was forwarded for a prestigious national award.
